After reading the regulations some 60 days ago, my personal opinion is that they are actually not illegal as Amber tailights are not illegal in USA according to the regulations I have read.
But I am not YOUR lawyer either and do not intend to give legal advice on this subject. |

I didn't even think it was the amber lights that were the problem, that's why I asked. From what I've read on various dmv sites, only red and amber can be seen from the rear and brake lights must be red. Thanks
Edit: From pictures I can't tell when you hit the brakes do the amber lights come up too? That could be the issue. Last edited by shiftdnb; 08-17-2017 at 05:48 PM.. |
