I believe the power harnesses are unfortunately depending on the unit chosen and the model of BMW (the PX6 harnesses are not the same as the INTEL which are not the same as the S625 etc ...) It would therefore be necessary be able to start the unit and know "its kernel and identifier" to be able to give you valid advice

I can see the link to power up the unit at home on the first page, but does it require a 12V power supply? Thanks.

Everything in a car is 12V so I'll tell you "yes"
Once connected, go to your Android and Factory settings to take as many photos and information as possible

Tried to turn it on with a 12V power supply but it won't. Screen stay black although I can see a red led on the board turns on, then off. Did I just fry it or did I buy a brick?

Oh, and I found a label with the rca tv-in set of wires that said "8509 A9", I googled and there was some android unit for F48 x1. Did it mean anything or was it just a generic label? Thanks.

mine does not do that, it does a coldboot everytime. did you change any settings in the car settings? would you mind posting your mcu version string?

When you are in ADB, in the shell phrase to move the google folder, are you sure you have to add the * to the end of the folder name?(adb shell mv /data/app/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox*)

I just read somewhere that only Qualcomm unit supports LTE, is that correct? If that's the case, then mine should be a Qualcomm since it has a LTE cable connection.

McLarenF1GTR It sure looks like an SD625 unit. The green plug looks like 6 pins LVDS NBT, the blue is for GPS, and you also have a connection for 4G/LTE antenna.

Any seller of these kind of units on Aliexpress should be able to provide harness.

This reference does not seem to have been referenced on the sharing site you are quoting, so I wish if I can contribute in making it available, and if so, how to do it?

Hello, I just updated my Unit with

Ksw-P-Userdebug_OS_v3.9.8-ota.zip
dGS-CCC-GTL-200617.zip
factory_config_BMW_A9_398_A10_157.zip

in this order.
Everything works fine, but my PDC with Camera is only shown, if I am in reverse gear.
Before the update i was able to show PDC+Cam if I press the PDC button in the center console (where the seat heating buttons are).

I can hear that the PDC is active, but I have no PCD+Camera screen.
Is it a bug? Do I have to Downgrade? How to restore the old behavior?
