Thanks Kri for your insight. For sure I'll return it, as i mentioned i got some major faults in the car related to k-can communications, and head unit price cost with aramex shipping 392$. The unit removed yesterday from the car and returned the oem screen. Till now thank god i didn't get the error.

Do these commands persist through reboots? And if not, is there any simple way to have them be persistent, or at the very least have the commands run on every boot?

Hello, I used at the time: Shizuku and App Ops - Permission manager of "Xingchen & Rikka" but you had to relaunch them each time, because it did not stay in memory (I think you had to pay for that)

Yes absolutely, the background permissions have changed for my speed camera detection application, while now under Android 10, it is the Spotify APP which announces a restriction in the background but which does not exist not (Spotify works in the background for more than 3 hours on the road without worries despite this message at startup) I suppose that in Android 10 it is just a slight bug while in Android 9 the speed camera detection APP did not work not

1. Are the new Avinusa models the legit Snapdragon 625 chips and are fast? video possible on someone using the new unit thats not from the manufacturer faking how fast they think they are? LOL

* Translated chinese text to english
* Added 6 additional GUI`s selection
* Added DAB-Z App to DVR App list, to allow use of DVR Tile for Starting it (only ID5/ID6 GUI)
* all known Headunits from different factory_config.xml files added
* some additional Language Support activated
* Changed default Factory Password to "0" (Zero)

I recommend to compare this file settings with your current one before updating

KSW and MCU updates are two completely different things. You can update both, but you do them individually. If your unit has 4GB of RAM you can update it to Android 10 if want, but if you have 2GB version I would say it's not recommended.

My unit with 9.0 works flawlessly, i only want full iDrive controls in Apple car play etc and better skins. any advice?

It doesn't matter which one you update first.

But:
1. Android 9 KSW 3.9.8 already supports controller in all apps.
2. Skins are all the same on all platforms. I presume you have ID5, ID6 and ID7 now. Android 10 only adds NBT to the mix.

It looks like this script was developed for the CIC interface. I have a CCC system on my 2006 E90 - will this script also work for CCC? If not, what modifications would be necessary to get it working? I did not want to pay for the Tasker app until I had a sense for what this would entail...

The script doesn't care what controller you have. From Android point of view these are all the same. What CIC and newer controllers offer is additional 6 buttons over 1 button CCC version - that's all. And even then Android can't use all of them.

Mate... you're running like a headless chicken searching for these animations. If I'm not mistaken the animation that Mjam is using is very similar to what you can download form the theming thread I pointed you to 🤷
