Is this a common issue with F-series cars? I was unable to code a car because I could not connect, but I previously coded it just fine.

PDC

Hi Shawn,

first of all: good job! I really appreciate your efforts.

I just installed a front PDC kit and need to do the coding now. (Had rear already insalled before) I am familiar with the basics and know that "508" has to be added to the FA but I'm not sure if that's all I need and how to do it exactly.

Thanks for your help!

After adding 508 to FA, you need to write FA to car, then VO Code affected modules in car (e.g. PDC, TRSVC, CIC/NBT).

The ones I listed in my post above. If you do not have TRSVC, then omit it.

Okay did it, worked for the CIC. By PDC you mean the REM?! I tried to code that one but it gave me an error in which it says: cafd_.......... NotExecutable

Do you have any clue on what is going on?

No, when you Read ECU, you should have a PDC module.

It is possible in F20 that REM is for PDC then. Front Sensor then may be in FEM_BODY. I would VO Code CIC/NBT, REM, and FEM_BODY then.
