Just have Sport mode configured for chassis. Dont need the drivetrain for Sport mode as I can push the gear lever to the left...........

Yes was more just double checking that you had chassis selected and not drivetrain only or something!

Yeah, thanks for that! I when I go into Sport, the steering stiffens very slightly - but the suspension doesn't stiffen up like others describe on here.

I've found a 335d (standard I guess) to compare the height. Does look lower for the ACS springs.

Still waiting for the car to return from the garage I spoke to them last night and they have just the box left to do

This is roughly what I expect it to cost
springs £246
labour to fit £200
kds £93 (yet to have done and this is the worst case scenario)

Ok thanks.

It is definitely lower at the back! Noticeably so!

I assume it just the arch gap that's smaller at the back (as is standard) but the overall height must be pretty much even? Measured to the sill or chassis...

I measured the height before and after, and the drop was 2cm all round, but yes the arch gap at the front was bigger in the first place so I think it's just the visual perception as now the ride height at the back now looks pretty damn perfect!

May I ask where you bought the box and roughly how much?

Fitting time of 45AW (1AW = 5 mins) definitely includes KDS and as a) these figures are based on BMW's own timings and b) we've done a number of these both at other dealers and here and kept within the fit time I'll have to have a chat with Sytner to see what the problem was. I'll come back to you on that. Checking the headlight level is also covered in the instructions but is a simple (and quick) job, even if it needs adjusting.

I have confirmed with Andrew from BMW Oldbury that the Xenon alignment was completed as part of the instructions. I must admit they have been excellent with fitting, customer service. Definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to have the springs and lives nearby.

Lorcan, If you could have a word with them as other members on this forum are looking to use them and I don't think it would be fair for the price to increase based on their labour times.

Good news! I've rang my insurance and it's going to affect my policy. Not entirely sure he understood what I was telling him but I explained clearly several times and he told me there was no cost. He's put a note on my policy that there's no cost for this. Also I've took his name so if there's any issues I can go back to him. The whole phone call will be recorded anyway I expect.
