EWS 4+ in F30 FEM cant copied easy with this programs. Ýou have to find the ews chip and separate it from the FEM to read it.

At the pic i attached its number 3. In some country variants or SA combinations you also need this part for comfort access retrofit. You have to take a look with your vin at web etk to see if there are different part numbers for this part with or without CA.

Anyone an idea how to code the trunk to central lock the car without comfort access.

I looked up what the coding of comfort access for an F34 are but no idea what combination to use to get it working

Wires for the side skirt antenna goes from driver or co-driver footwell to the engine bay. From engine bay in the front Wheel arch and from Wheel arch under the covering to the side skirts.

question is do i need to buy NEW FEM (MAX/CA) or can buy used FEM (MAX/CA) then copy all data from my FEM to that ?

Thought I would update this thread as I finally found this plug after several weeks of reaching out to automotive suppliers. It's a Hirschmann MicroSealedConnector 805-188, on AliExpress as item #33036377166. You can also find it by searching for "W106-A" or "BMW heated mirror connector." I used this in my retrofit to not have to buy a new harness.

You have to add 4 additional outside aerials, lots of cables, a switch, 2 door handles, 1 ecu with 2 aerials for contactless tailgate opening and if you have no FEM_Max a new FEM from your BMW dealer.

Its not a cheap retrofit but i think its worth the money so much.

The door handle haves 4 wires and they talk about 3

After reading all the post still not sure where the pins go

Pin 1 yellow to 33 A173*9B
Pin 2 white where this one go
Pin 3 brown to ground
Pin 4 red to 30 A173*3B

My FEM is FEM-LR01-ZB10_HIGH_E

I got lost with the external antenas. I remove the side skirts one day and I think i have one antenna each side. I dont know if those are the one that I need

Ia allready retrofitted the Kafas 2 and TRSVC dont know if that helps

Will CA work with only driver side retrofit ?
I replaced driver door handle, drv door latch, drv side skirt antena, FEM CA, VO code 322 to FEM but it still not work.
There no faults related to driver’s antena, handle, or FEM when scanned by Rheigold.
My car F30 2012.
I need your hints.

Is a FEM-MAX really required for Comfort Access, or will a FEM-HIGH work?

Looking through FEM listings on E-bay I can see several examples of FEM-HIGH being sold that list doner car VINs that have the Comfort Access S322 option.

Gates Innovations now offers a G style digital key upgrade that comes with an OBD adapter that you keep plugged in and it provides proximity comfort access. So walk close to the car and it unlocks by itself and walk away and it locks itself. For cars without CA sounds like a pretty spiffy upgrade. Even if you do have CA having G style proximity CA is still awesome.
