Yeah I can imagine the pricing is mental, they had an 8 series outside as well I really liked it, a lot smaller than I expected yet it still weighs so much.

So I think that platform has some widely differing permutations.

I'd personally steer clear of any early production JLR model.... Jaguar cancelled the lease on son in laws F Pace (early model) as it was so unreliable!! |

Personal Lease, PCP isn't entirely different although it's structured differently both are rentals with one having an option to buy.
Both give you access to a car for a set period following the payment of a deposit and a monthly payment, with a rental you hand it back with a PCP you have two options at the end. I've leased and PCP'd cars the experience as an end user is just the same.

VW seem to support PCH more and more these days meaning the deals there can be much better than PCP |

Just been on the iPace forum, lots of software issues it seems....Tesla has/had similar issues when they introduce new stuff, but I guess the difference is one is a company founded by a software guy and the other probably have out sourced all software development. Am not sure JLR group have got the software teams needed to integrate all the bits they have put on the car. |

Jaguar LR can't make Cars they've been making for years reliable (Range Rovers) so I wouldn't touch any new models especially ones containing cutting edge technology with a barge pole, you'd have to be raving mad or a masochist.

Collection day was today, a lovely 200 mile drive from the dealers to run her in
Initial views are, it does exactly what it states on the tin, comfortable, brash and fast in a straight line. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the interior. |
