I was really curious to hear what my car sounded like from the outside, so I stuck my gopro on my bumper and went down a fun road:

Very good! It's a valved exhaust, and is much quieter outside with the valve closed, but ironically it drones inside more with the valve closed than open. Even so, it's still not that bad as far as drone goes. It doesn't bother me at all, our cabins are pretty well isolated.

Is this the afe that has the muffler bypass? 49-36340? The catback comes with a resonator right?

I've been having issues with rattling of the valve on mine pretty bad. I was full straight pipe with catless dp and no resonator and it didn't sound good at all so I added a vibrant ultra quiet resonator. It's almost too quiet now :

Yup, that's the one. And yes, it comes with a resonator. My valve rattles a tiny bit in the morning when closed, but when it warms up, it stops.

Finally got my GoPro suction cup from Amazon. Here's the rattle in comfort mode:

And heres the valve open. Definitely sounds better open but it's nice to have it quiet sometimes too

Yours is definitely much worse than mine. A bit sad that their QA isn't better... but I also don't expect much from them considering I had to get my first exhaust from them replaced under warranty. Still sounds great though.
