Hey everyone,

I'm having an issue with my BMW 335i (2014, M Sport) where the check engine light came on; this is the 4th time it has come on, and the error code is P0456 (Evaporative Emissions System – Small Leak Detected). So far, I've taken the following steps to try and fix it:

Replaced the gas cap twice (OEM parts) 2 years apart. The first time I changed the fuel cap, the check engine light went away for a year, and the second time I replaced it, it went away for about a month.
Replaced the leak detection pump and it went away for 6 months.

Despite these replacements, the check engine light just turned back on yesterday with the same error code. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions on what to check next? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
