Q3 deals are out - a bit disappointing

TRL has just published his deals for the new quarter

1.9% APR and now a GFV of £14,462 for my planned 340i Shadowline Touring makes it about a grand more expensive over the term than it was yesterday and £3,000 extra on a 4y PCP than he offered last year.

I know the killer here is the trashed value at 4y but was hoping for 0% to offset this and get me into one. It isnt that they are now financially out of reach, but the extra road tax over the term also doesnt help, its just that I dont think I could swallow going from my current 335d lease at just over 300/month to the new payments. And Ive always fancied a Volvo which is where the deals are now.......

I agree the Q3 deals on the F30/F31 look nothing special, unless you land on a stock or pre-reg car at a huge discount they really don't make much sense financially IMO.

This made me look at lease deals, started out at a £350 max payment but soon started looking at RS4 avant at £695, it's an illness!

Volvo deals look good on the S90 though at £250 per month lots of car for that monthly.

Perhaps BMW know they'll now sell all they can produce before the switch over to the new model, so the deal don't need to be quite so atttactive?

What kind of miles on those deals?

There are never deals on their RS cars however the S4 was 380/month around Easter which is a decent barometer to measure the 340 deals against.

I didn't think 695 was bad and comparable to the M3/4 deals I think, RS3 was 500 a month again not bad at all.

The Volvo or RS4? I think they were 8k per annum, I changed the Rs4 to reflect my mileage and it was £823 for 30k per year 4k in.

Either really. I know you do high miles like me, so figured you'd have them for both.

Volvo is £340 on 30k PA a 24 month deal which I think is ideal if you do a few miles is £380 with 30k PA.

New Touareg is £500 per month but it falls apart when you add the miles and reduce the term, pity as think that's a nice car.

Those Volvo deals sound pretty amazing. Hopefully they'll be like that on the hybrid options next year for the new V60. It looks nice, and at those figures make a lot of sense for Mrs Tengocity.

Aren’t 1st and 3rd quarters always the most expensive, because they’re the months you order in to get the new reg in March/September?

Not in my experience, my current mega deal was bagged in Q3 2y ago

Whats interesting is that this time he's deleted his previous deals so you cant directly compare but they are deffo more despite the F30/31 being on the way out.

Shame really, Id talked myself into a real mans 340i

STOP PRESS!

Peter Vardy is the new TRL, well they are if you want a 335d Shadowline which is 2k under TRL's figures for a 4y PCP

Unfortunately Peter Vardy isnt the new TRL if you want a 340i though

The search continues, and if anyone else is looking to bag a new 340i then lets be friends - does that sound creepy????

No but you'll find that doubling up doesn't help either the deals are the deals.
