comfort access down to zero range

Hey yall

I know there are threads on this, and yes searched, and yes opened threads about this before.

I am really stumped and thought I would start a new conversation on it. My comfort access range is basically down to zero. If the fob is in my pocket it wont work touching the doors etc, trunk etc. I have to hold the fob in my hand, then touch to lock, or hand on the handle to unlock.

Two fobs, new batteries in both, and same issue. I also see where from time to time the car will say key not detected, wont start, when it already has started.

Sensors maybe? thoughts?

Since it seems to work equally badly in all places, it cannot really be due to the sensors.
I would now think of a battery that is too cheap.
Some people also say that you should only use the original BMW battery.
I have used one from Varta and they work perfectly.

Not all batteries are created equally. Only buy name brands, like Duracell, and check the expiration date on the package.
