I've got a 2015 EWG 335xi Manual, I'm currently running FBO, (minus intake) and OTS Stage 2 on Bootmod, 93 OCT. If I upgraded to a PS2 turbo, would I need to change anything to see a significant increase in power? I don't know if I'm ready to start messing with fuel pumps, meth yet. Would my current setup and OTS bootmod tune adapt right to the upgraded turbo?

Finally got a chance to hit the rollers again! 528 whp and 570 wtrq

Again this is with PS2 Turbo, FBO, XDI-35 HPFP, custom tune + supporting mods.

Runs were all consistent with and awesome power curve as well. Car is running FLASH ONLY and 93oct/boostane for these runs. Car is certainly a blast to drive!

Which supporting mods that aren’t listed? Those are nice numbers!

Thanks - Car pulls pretty hard! Everything I listed there is the main hardware parts. Supports are like GFB diverter valve, pure inlet piping, clutch upgrade, etc. There is a full list of mods on my build thread if you want details.

That's not how it works. You would only use a JB4 if you needed it for meth control or something.

Those with the pure turbo, how is torque around and under 2000 rpm? Still enough to allow you to lightly accelerate on the highway like you can on stock turbo?

No issues with daily drivability with ps2. Feels just like stock if not a smidgen stronger in non wot driving.

When the pedal is put to the floor you do feel a second of turbo lag that wasn't as apparent with stock turbo. But that doesn't mean slow or slower acceleration than stock. 8 psi on the ps2 is like 12 on the stock turbo. Its just you feel the lag that you didn't feel before. Once you hit 3k its a freight train pulling harder every rpm to redline.

It is faster than stock in all driving conditions in my experience.

who did your tune, and was it through bm3? I have a 2013 335xi converted to a 2015 ewg pure stage 2 fbo dorsch hpfp an made no where near that, it pulls but doesnt feel like its hitting full potential. An yes you read that right it was a flooded motor so i spent all the moneys an time doing it lol

a few guys hitting similar numbers rwd now with the bm3 2+ e30 ots map.. Basically anywhere from 490 to 530ish depending on drive config and dyno etc. solid stuff
