Maintenance at 60k miles?

So my car is coming up to 60k miles. It's a late 2015 418d with a manual gearbox and the newer B47 engine.
I'd like to make sure the car is well maintained going into higher mileage and being out of warranty. I'm currently at 55k and it had the final service (engine oil and filter) with it's service pack at 50k.

When it hits 60k I think I'll have the following done
Engine oil and filter
Gearbox oil
Differential oil
Full coolant flush

Is it worth having all these fluids changed, some say it is a must but some say not to bother. I'll probably get it done anyway. Can't hurt to spend the £200 odd it will cost to prevent a larger problem down the road. Are there any other fluids worth changing whilst the car is in the shop?

I'm going to have engine oil and filter changed every 7.5/10k. iDrive says every 19-20k but I think I'll do roughly half that.

If you’re planning on keeping the car long-term, I would definitely do it.

Yes absolutely change all of those fluids. Other than that everything SHOULD be sound. Expect to change shocks/struts around 90,000km

Thanks for the advice, I'm surprised you think the shocks will need replacing at 90,000km?

I have the adaptive m sport suspension and have heard of shocks/struts needing replacing at around 160,000km. My car is at around 90,000km/55,000 miles and the suspension is still smooth. I'll keep it in mind though!

Might seem smooth but it's been degrading over the years At 70,000 miles my rear shocks were done. Fronts were more than 50% worn.

I'm approaching 60k miles as well. I ordered the ZF fluid/filter replacement kit and am going to take a go at replacing the fluid soon. I suppose I may as well do the diff fluid while I'm under the car.

Anything else besides coolant that should be done while I'm under there? Engine oil was already changed only 1-2k miles ago.

If not, anything I should at least check out? Corrosion, common wear items, etc.?

I've seen photos of cooling components which had high miles and lifetime coolant. They all looked fine. Based on that IMO I would wait on coolant until one of the following occur:

Water pump or thermostat failure (replace hoses down there as well).

OFHG failure.

while you're at it, put a scope in and check for carbon build up just in case.

Hey, don’t want to thread jack, but I just got back from a local mechanic and he did:
Oil/filter change
Coolant flush
Differential flush
Auto trans flush

It was $650 out of the door....is that in the ballpark or a little high? Labor was around $325...

Doesn't sound bad, I know the auto trans flush is very expensive. People pay like £300 for it here in the UK
