Harman Kardon Equalizer Settings

When I got my car I searched everywhere for proper equalizer settings for the sound system on my '14 F30 but remember struggling to find one. After extensive trial and error and search I found one that works very well for my taste.

Sorry for the long intro, here's my settings for Harmon Kardon sound system with Logic 7 surround:
100: +5 bars
200: +4
500: +3
1K : +7
2k: +3
5k : +5
10k: +8
Bass: +4
Treble: +7

With logic 7 on

I feel these settings take full advantage of the Audio system we have.
on flat default settings it is very quiet and not loud at all...

I'm no sound expert but these settings worked well for me. Let me know what you think!

If you like the way it sounds... thatís What counts. I find these settings to be way to boomy / Bassy.

Yes it's not for everybody but it's something to try. I personally listen to hiphop/rap and it's perfect for that.

There are so many things to change and try on the BMW, I am glad to have found this forum i didn't even know about the equalizer settings.

I did read somewhere that the suggestion is not to turn on the logic 7 as it distorts the sound when mid-high ?

Thanks for the tip, I will try those settings.

I've only ever increased the bass & treble with logic 7 on.

I actually found turning logic 7 on better with the settings that I have. I would think turning it off would distort mid-high since logic 7 is surround sound and turning it off would blast music out the speakers like a basic sound system

Sounds great.
