Hello

I have a bmw f30 320d 2.0l sport 2017 automatic with engine number B47D20O0, this is what bmw tells me.

My question is what is the difference between B47D20O0 AND B47D20A ?

And will engine number B47D20A fit and work in my car ?

Interesting question. From the sounds of it, looks like your car needs a replacement engine.

Do you at least know the HP rating for each engine? There are so many variants of the B47, it's kinda hard to tell the difference without knowing the HP rating. Or at the very least where the new engine is coming from (i.e. which BMW, like a 520d etc)
