437m tyre pressures
Hi
Finally managed to source some 437,s, taken an age, they seem so popular now! Tyres are... 245/35/19 and 265/35/19 . So was wondering what tyre pressures would be good to run on my 330d? Thanks in advance Steve |

I used to run 36psi all round on my F31 330d with 437m and those tyre sizes.

M2 recommended tyre pressures are apparently 35psi all round, but my old F31 330d is heavier than an M2 so I opted for 36- 38 all round, eventually settling on 36 as the best compromise. |

If you're going to get into second guessing variables there are many more than that, but that's the issue when you try and mod your car with kit it's not designed to have and thinking you can have an optimum set up.

As Wills rightly says(albeit a little condescendingly) there are variables that manufacturers take into account when specifying tyre pressures, so don't take my word, or anyone else's that 36psi(or any other) is "the best". It was just my preference in a car that I spent a lot of time in, 60k miles in in 2 years, and modified a fair bit (Polybushed, aftermarket springs and dampers) and thought it drove great. |
