Which tune?

Thinking of going with BM3 on my 328i with N26. Ive heard a few horror stories though with BM3 and the n20/n26 motor. I currently have Injen intake, muffler delete. I have ready to go in though, VRSF charge pipe, catless downpipe and intercooler! What tune would you guys recommend?

What horror stories have you heard? I have BM3 on my N20 and I couldn't praise it more. It's amazing. Also, it's pretty much the safest tuning there is being that it is a flash tune instead of a piggy back

I know there is a guy named Luverse on here who was running BM3 and ended up with a cracked piston and oil pump due to to much power. I’ve also heard of a couple others with issues to how their car was running with the tune. Like misfires and stuff!

I see. Well, there are 2 stages- stage 1 and stage 2. Stage 1 is more conservative than stage 2 obviously and it does not require supporting hardware upgrades where as stage 2 does. If one may have the fear of overpowering their vehicle on a stock car, stage 1 would be the best choice. I'm assuming you want to be as safe as possible. So, stage 1 would be the best option. It would be even more safe if you go ahead and upgrade the necessary hardware. Pro Tuning Freaks anyways advises customers to change out certain hardware before tuning their cars to stage 2.

Yeah, I’m going to have my charge pipe, intercooler and downpipe in before I tune it. Not sure if i should jump straight to stage 2, or just go with stage 1! I guess I’ll decide when it comes time to flash!

Those are perfect supporting mods for stage 2. But if you want to be extremely safe, you should stay at stage 1. But stage 2 is honestly the way to go

Definitely start with stage 2 if you're installing those mods already. I'm probably going to jump to stage 2 when I install a downpipe. But I'm stuck getting a catted downpipe because of emissions check in my area.

+1 for Bootmod3 , thousands of customers are running it with N20/N26 without any issues.

We offer it with 30 day money back guarantee.
