I discount that article entirely.

My sentiments exactly. But then again you could probably say that every 2-3 years after you buy a car.

Look at it this way. How many people here mention the E46 as the best 3er compared to other gens? This should give you an indication of why it will become a classic. Obviously it isn't yet as it is only 2 generations out.

I completely agree with you. I love it when journalists sound just as biased and opinionated on subjective things as brand enthusiasts do while never actually using examples and comparisons to back up the argument.

I'll admit that for my own personal taste they could have done some things a bit differently, however overall I like the car, and it's more than I had anticipated actually.

he's actually saying that bmw used to do eye catching stuff, I guess that's reference enough.
Personally I really dislike the newer bmw styling in every model.

Holy Crap, that is impressive, kind a cross between a Z4 and a 328i, but wider...

This will definitely result in my continued contribution to the national debt..

there had to be much more done in order to call it a 4 series. interior goes more towards the 1 series instead of the 5 and the exterior is just too similar to f30.

Can the dealers actually sell their 'demo' 4-series cars that they had a chance to order a few weeks ago? (when the build options were revealed)...

Demo sales

Someone on this forum will know but as I recall on the F30s of last year, the dealers were expected to keep those cars 6 months before selling them. Not sure how that was enforced.

Who reads the "fiscal times"??? If it isn't the pink paper (Financial Times), it has zero credibility.

By the way, that's not a knock against ninja_goat.
