It's brilliant about the BMW product placement. Comparing the cabin is a joke, BMW looks minimal and the Lexus looks like a complicated microwave.

I sat in the RC and thought it was pretty nice. If it was lighter, it would have been a better contender for the M4. But as with most folks here, I really really can't wrap my head around the Nike LEDs and that Predator grille. |

Didn't like it. I also hate the Lexus infotainment system, although I think they finally got rid of their stupid mouse set up. The cars just don't stack up to BMW's IMO. Now you have the GS-F which sounds like it wouldn't even keep up with a 550i much less an M5. They just seem to make "me too" cars, except the LF-A. That car was pretty bad ass. The Lexus interior reminds me of a early 80's Nissan 200SX. The exterior is so ugly that the cars virtues mean almost nothing. It's like the ugly girl who has talent.

By the way, the Lexus is a whopping 138 lbs heavier. Thats like a small friend in the passenger seat. That probably explains the .6 second difference to 60........................... |

So they are advertising value/cost to the people in a market for a higher end/pricier car. Have you ever seen BMW take this approach to marketing?

I'm a hardcore BMW fan since I was a kid. My grandfather had BMW's, my father had BMW's and now I'm driving BMW's...
However, if I was living in USA, this video would've made me pick the Lexus over BMW anytime. It looks nice, the interior looks comfy, has a longer warranty, has lots of standard gizmos to play with and it's significantly cheaper. I know that BMW's engines are far more better than Lexus engines, but that's an irrelevant issue if you're in the states since you'll be mostly using this car to commute to work on highways with a 65mph speed limit. Another thing is that chicks in my country loves BMW's =) But in the States no one cares what you drive. You'll get the same amount of p**sy with the Lexus compared to the 4 series lol I had the chance to live in California for a couple of years and that's where I draw my conclusions from.

I have not had a chance to watch the video, but I will say this, who in their right mind yearns to purchase a Lexus (besides the LS sports car)? The majority of their fleet are rebadged Toyotas as previously mentioned and I personally find their styling atrocious. I suppose I don't understand the Lexus buyer. However, if it were my money and I was dying to buy a Lexus I would simply go to my local Toyota dealership and pickup any number of rebadged Lexus cars.

If I were to own one of them for 10+ years I'd take the Lexus. I'm afraid to take my 335i to long road trips over fears it would break down at some point. Yes I'm paranoid like that after multiple fuel pumps, water pumps, failure to start engine, etc. In comparison, my 15 year old Nissan Maxima has been bullet proof.

I personally would not buy the lexus because of how it looks. While it may have a nice interior, being one of those that backs in to all his spots, i would not like walking to my car everyday and would not do that stupid cliche look back when i park to "make sure its locked but im really looking at my car again"
depends on the current daily conversion from american horses to euro horses

I love how it says the 435 has "Extra-Cost LED Headlamps" when in fact the ones shown are the standard xenon headlights with the LED coronas, not the LED lights. smh
