Looks huge, almost the same size as the 6 series.

likely reserving the more agressive designs for M-Sport and M4...look at what the base E90 looked like:

IMO, really hard to get excited over the original E90 design

Looks good. Still can't get used to the Autozone styling on the fender.

There was a big difference between the front of the E90 and E92, but now the F30 and F32 look exactly the same and the front of the car looks narrow. Honestly, I like the way the E92 looks more than this.

Rear is tone down alot vs the concept which I like. The front is really aggressive still. I hope they don't go over the top fast and furious style for the M sport and ///M

I like most current BMW's but many of them, I had to warm up to.
4 series is one car I've absolutely loved since concept came out and production version still looks amazing.
What a job by the design team.. can't wait to see how the car drives

This an independent camera crew and they are using a Porsche because the camera was built for the Cayenne only. Its a special gyro camera mount that they use for action shots with cars. You guys crack me up some times.

As for the 4-series, i want to see more pics first.

Certainly looks sportier...but something feels lost.

Side profile, the back half doesn't look unqiue, resembles too many coupes already out there.

Agreed. This is not a big enough change to warrant the 3 - 4 series split.

It not only looks huge, it is HUGE

That`s bothering IMHO, now the E92 was a big car, the F32 is even bigger....

Bigger is less nimble, is less driving fun, I can tell after a E46 M3, E92 M3 and now a E82 1M, which is the smallest of all but the biggest smile when driving.

So almost every car-manufacturer is downsizing, smaller cars compared to the same old models, lighter cars compared to the older models, I really feel BMW missed the point in that direction.

So they came up with the 1er and 2er series, but these will also grow in size.

That is not the way for me, beautiful looking or not, size and weight will determine driving fun all the way IMO.

*golf clap*

looks great. M-Sport (and the "real" M version) will fix the toned-down front and rear ground effects. add a body-colored side vent (or in CF), and we're good to go. seeing the "4" on the back though is just strange. badge delete will fix that too though.

this sucker is gonna price out at around $65k though judging from the fact that my online build of an M-Sport 3er Touring last night hit $56k (!)

Small thing but on a new range and flagship I cant believe they diteched the LED indicators and gone back to orange lense spoils it looks like a 1990s car

Other than that... this is great styling update of the E92 3-Series Coupe.
Identity spreads further than just the design and name. The car will perform as well as it looks and in appearance it is nothing like an F30, every panel is unique plus the car is lower and wider than the F30. The bloodline may be familiar but everything is unique.
