I just updated my bimmercode app and it looks as though sport automatic was just added as an option.. I was just reading about how to enable this option. Anyone try this yet?

Did these as well, but where is the startup animation shown? on the iDrive screen or what? That screen shows a BMW logo now vs the legal BS.

Gonna play with the seatbelt nag noise settings later. I hate having that go off if I'm just driving from the mailbox to the garage...

Yes, it shows on the iDrive screen. Disabling the legal disclaimer makes it so you don't have to click OK every time the car starts up. Changing the animation actually changes the iDrive start up animation. This only appears after the car has been turned off for like an hour or something, it doesn't show up every time you start the car. I forget the exact time frame.

I gave Bimmercode a try and am scared I won't be able to stop using it!

Here is what I did:

Removed legal disclaimers (it was annoying at the front end of the car on top view)
Extended the Park Assist Distance (so it doesn't shut down so quickly)
Removed the 1,5 second delay on confort access so mirrors fold right away
Delayed the seat belt chime to 500 meters so it is not harassing immediately
Enabled door handle leds while reversing (this is really cool)
Changed animation to M (because why not, I have a M kit at the end)
Extended the welcome lights to 60 seconds

I have a couple of questions :

Has anyone setup lights when you you lock the car and walk away?
Do you have any other cool tip you can share?

I did this (and I have M Sport!) but it's only showing generic BMW letters in Helvetica. Do you need the wide screen for this?

I don't know if you need wide screen but I can confirm I have it so no idea if it works with smaller screens

I got bored over the weekend and "un-coded" it, tested then re-coded it...no issues to report.

I have it coded, but I don't really any difference between this and the regular sport mode. I thought this was going to be the sport+ that everyone was talking about, ah well.

I second this. Car already had sport+ , but did not show "S1, S2, etc." on the gauge cluster when putting in the DS (M/S to the left) (My car is a sport line but I did not order the car with the Sport Automatic Transmision option - 2TB). After coding, gained the faster shifts in DS/Sport+. Was super easy and the result is awesome.

lol, I think I wasn't driving the car hard enough.. Having driven now after programming for a week, it definitely feels a lot more responsive and shifts quicker.

On the transmission section, if you go to advanced there’s an option to disable “Allrad” which translates to all wheel. Haven’t tried it but this might potentially disable x drive for some rear wheel fun.

Folks, please help me.
Much to my disappointment, i cannot see the 'folding mirrors on lock' option anywhere in bimmerapp.
I have a 440i coupe, August 2016, i'm in the UK.
The car has external folding mirrors but i have to press a button for that function.
It does not have comfort access.

All i want to do is for the mirrors to fold when I press the lock button on the fob, and likewise, unfold when I unlock.

In the bimmerapp menu in Simple mode - I go into the electronic ECU section, and all i can see is an array of comfort access related stuff, and its all active.
but i can't see the option to actually do what i want above.

is this in expert mode? if so....which code is it?

I used Bimmercode to add video on motion but I've been having an issue getting my '15 435i to read my USB.

My 64 GB Sandisk USB drive is formatted using my Mac for FAT32, which to my understanding is compatible w/ BMW but I'm getting a consistent, "Not supported" error. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
