Wheel speed sensor

Hi,

I have the chassis stabilization , abs, cel warning lights, which is typical of my wheel speed sensor.

Bought the following part number 34526884423, and after changing the sensors, - the error didn’t go away. In fact, I got the airbag malfunction error as well now
- the steering became heavy (Was normal before I replace)
- Automatic trunk does not work (can still open by force)
- retractable spoiler deployed and couldn’t get it down

I bought my own parts and the workshop installed for me. They suspect I got the wrong part.

Has anyone faced similar experience, and managed to get it resolved? What would be the next troubleshoot to do?

Thanks!

The error won't go away because you changed the sensor. You have to clear it with an OBD diagnostic and repair tool. You might not have had to replace it. I got the entire set of warnings associated with ABS sensor failure. I used my Foxwell NT510 to diagnose the problem, clear the codes, and then function test the sensors. They were all fine. Two years later the problem never returned.

We cleared the error codes a few times but it came back the moment we drive the car.

In that case you have to test the sensor function. If they test OK then something else is causing the problem.

The new sensors are not the right one. Apparently I have park assistant on the f34, which I never knew for the past 7 years!

Step1: Scan for error codes.
