2013 F30 328i RWD ( Diff / Trans Fluid Change )
This seems to be a huge grey area, I have a 2013 328i RWD 6MT car, Can anyone recommend a fluid change kit or fluids?
I have hit 105k miles and wish to change my rear diff and trans fluids. Thanks in advance! DG

Since you have a manual, there is no ‘kit’, that’s more for automatics. You can get the OEM fluids from BMW (just check RealOEM), alternative is something from Redline.

In case anyone ever searches for this information I can confirm the F80 DIY below is relevant for all F30's with Manuals when it comes to the transmission.
I purchased my fluid from FCP Euro "Red Line 75W90 NS GL-5 Gear Oil". F80 M3 Transmission DIY - Unfortunately are diffs are not the same procedure as we have no drain plug, We have to suck out the old and then refill with new.

Just finished the fluid change, Wow @ 105k miles this stuff was black.
Trans seems to shift much smoother, So strange BMW labels this crap as lifetime.. What a crock of crap ( marketing speak for the lease people I guess ).

How much of the fluid did you use QUiKSR20 ? Have to do the same. Also, it's kind of interesting to see another member from "the dash" make their way into a 6MT F30.

You need two bottles, The transmission will take around 1.5qts ( 1.5 bottles ) to fill it. The process was as easy as drain and pump but with no information anywhere I drove myself crazy.. Hoping this helps clear it up for most, Now to tackle the rear diff although diff fluid changes arent as important. Anytime I have drained a diff the fluid never looked that bad and doesnt really get beat up. Let me know if you have any questions and follow the video above, it was spot on.
