F30 340i - 19x10" rear wheel?

Anyone running a 19x10" rear wheel?

I would also be going with coil overs and camber plates... looking to go to a full track build on my 2018 340i and I know I need to go wider out back...

I love the Apex ARC-8 in 19x10" but the ET is 25 which seems too low for this car...

I'm running 19x9.5" et40 w/ 265/35 right now on Dinan springs and OE M-adaptive dampers... no rubbing... PERFECT fitment IMO.

Why 19x10 wheel for track build? You need to go smaller like 18 or 17 for a more meaty tires = better grip. Also you need to go wider on the tire not on the wheel. 9.5 is perfect for 275.

I'm also looking for a better grip performance wheel/tire setup than my current one below.
19x8.5 et35 235/40
19x9.5 et40 265/35

This is what I have in mind so far.

Apex 18" EC-7 with Indy 500

18x9 et31 255/40/18
18x9.5 et43 275/40/18

Yeah I agree and that makes sense. After looking into it more the 10" is just too big for the F30 rear IMO. It either pokes or requires a lot of negative camber and rolled fenders.

I think that set up is the move. Thanks for the input!

For "tracking", i agree with most of your plans, except i'd put 265/40/18 in the rear and run MPS4S or Continental EC Sport(less expensive).

Those aren't track tires lol... I run Cup 2's on the street and I couldn't imagine anything less on a track...

yes, i know those aren't track tires but with wheel sizes @yoandry has chosen "track" tires are not available in those sizes so i suggested the best street tires that would do okay(until they overheated) on the track.

EDIT, sorry noticed there's an advan track tire available in the size i mentioned

I would like to get all the wider I can get on 9.5 et43 and 275/40 seems good and meaty. They are a few members with OEM 513 which they use the same tires.
I doubt that MPS4S or Continentals tires will be cheaper than the Firestone indy 500. They are a lot of good reviews on those tire. Best bang for the buck out there.

275/40 is good and meaty for sure. i just considered other things such as 26.7"(taller gearing), 1 lb heavier, staying nearer to square. granted, i'd probably not be able to notice these differences myself anyhow and you have ample torque anyway.

yup, firestones best bang for buck, for sure. i prefer to pay a little more for better.

Yes, 26.7" diameter is my only concern but I have searched and seem that everything should be good as long you don't go over/lower of 3% from OEM.

CarolinaBavaro - I am a newbie. Apology on dragging up an old post. Did you use spacers on this setup? I like the flush fitment of the rear. Same on front (hard to tell from photo)? I am searching for reasonably priced 437m in aftermarket and hope to have flush fitment on my 2017 340i that has adaptive suspension. Appreciate your guidance.

if it's OEM 437m, it's going to look like that with no spacer. That's why people run 265mm at the back so it won't rub. But for few others 275mm work quite well without rubbing.

No issue with 275 18x10 in the back stock height. Wheels look meaty and wide.

Please share your front and rear camber. I like that your rear tire at top is flush with the fender. My 19x10 ET 29 with 275/35R19 are further out at the top. Offset of 29mm likely impacts that but I am hoping maxing out negative camber (without hurting tire wear) helps.

Honestly, it should be stock camber. The angle looks as if it really has camber, but I think is the angle of the driveway. I'll take another picture once I get moving and onto a flat surface. I haven't done an alignment in over a year (I prob should but have other suspension bits on the way). Just 513M 18x10 et 40. 275/40/18.

Thank you. I mis-typed. My offset on the rear is ET40. The 437m rears are 19x10 ET 40 running 275/35R19. Basically the same setup as you but 19s and mine are out 8-10mm beyond the fender on 2017 340i. I am confused.

Taking a closer look at your tailpipe ... is your car a G20?

I actually came here to ask the same question about 10" wheels today.

I really like the look of your setup. Does this setup work with xDrive?

Also, if I were to go with 19's, are 10" in the back too big?

I think so, however don't quote me on this. I found a post from a couple years back with a guy who put 19x10 437m OEM wheels on an F30 xdrive. Tire sizes might be something you have to look into with the xdrive system for the cpu and measuring speed. This is what I was able to find for you and anyone else searching too:

400M vs 437M

This is the angle that's deceiving. If you set your eye on the same plane as the flat part of the fender, right above the tire, there is only the slightest bulge of the sidewall proud of the fender. Difficult to photograph with a phone.

depends on the brand/model of tire, but I am able to fit 285/30 quite comfortably. i'm lowered on B14s and have a little natural camber as a result, but nothing crazy. have never rubbed.

I've got the 437M wheels with 245/35/19 in F; 265/35/19 in R. Has H&R Sport Springs.

Does anyone have this setup? If so, can you confirm a 275 can fit in the R?

@JRocker3: go with 17-18" wheels to track with, as others have mentioned

@aps: 437M wheels look best on silver

Apologies for pic angle.
