Hi,

I have retrofitted NBT EVO from ENTRYNAV.
The numbers for the new NAV is:
HU : 65126829104
Screen : 65506822626

I have changed FA codes:
606 removed
609, 654 added
Then I set defaults for NBT and KOMBI (VO coding)

Then I changed the VIN in the new HU:
Use E-Sys => Expert Mode => FSC-Extended => WriteDataByIdentifierVIN to write VIN to NBT

I got the no signal on the screen, so I did the following:
CID_APIX_MODE -> apix2 (default apix1)
CID_COLOR_DEPTH -> 24 (default 18)
CID_COM_MODE -> mii (default spi)

Checked the followin, they should be okay:
CID_RESOLUTION -> 1280 x 480
DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTiON = 8.8
DISPLAY_VARIANTE = breites_display and werte =02

Now there is signal on the screen, and everything is okay, but Navigation is grayed out.

I use an emulator.

Could it be a failure in the emulator, or should I removed the emulator and edit the FSC codes.
How do I edit the FSC codes ?

Why did you change the VIN of the NBT?

Shouldn't the emulator do that for you ... ?

I put back the donor VIN, and not it Works, thanks a lot Ibo4 and yungming

If I want to avoid the emulator, is there any way to edit the FSC to the new VIN, or do I have to buy new FSC codes from BMW ?

you have problems when coding in VO?
my problem is similar to yours.

I actually succeded in VO coding, and all the main features is working now, thanks to Ibo4 and yungming.

The problems left now is:
1) Setting service partner hu nbt evo. How to do ?
2) Steering wheel contacts, right side Telephone and Radio is working, but it dont show up in KOMBI as before the retrofit ?
3) What is App ID 240 and 241 ?
4) How do I activate BMW Apps ?

I need to do the following:
5) Activate option 620 (Voice control) in VO
6) Flash NBT EVO (with old VIN?)

Is solved by setting:
HU_NBT - BASIS_KOMBI_MMI_LIST - aktiv
HU_NBT - SETTINGS_INFO_DISPLAY - aktiv

3) What is App ID 240 and 241 ?
Is solved 240 = ID4 Navigation Enabler, and 241 = European Map

4) How do I activate BMW Apps ?
I know, I have bought codes (AppID 156(0x9C) ; BMW Apps - S6NRA)

- Activation of navigation - 00DE
- Activation of voice control - 009E
- BMW APPS - 009C
- Satelite radio ‘ONLY FOR North AMERICA’ - 006F

Hello! It is very usefull topic about NBT EVO retrofit. I have the ENTRYNAV HU in may car (pre LCI) and i bought the NBT EVO HU with touch screen 8.8' and touch iDrvie controller. Is this all that i need to make NBT EVO work in my car? Do i need another cable to connect monitor, or ATM, or an emulator?

Hello everyone i have a bmw 335 2015 with a nbt hu with the bibiggest idrive controller with touch but i want to upgrade to nbt evo i already have a nbt evo headunit from a 2017 435 i already install and try to code but i cant to code with esys i have autohex2 and try to program and code but the software show me that these headunit is not compatible with the car i already have 609 in fa order so i need to change something else
or i need an adapter i dont know why i need to change

I suggest going through the coding guides or checking with one of the sponsored vendors for some help as E-sys would be the preferred tool for your NBT EVO retrofit.
