Best valuation site?
Only had the car 6 months but just found out we're expecting sprog number 2 and we were also in middle of moving so may need to sell the motor and downgrade.
Have been onto a few sites to see what I could get for the car but all seem very low. If that's what it is, then fair enough but wondered if anyone had any recommendations for valuation sites that are accurate. Car is as follows: 2013 F30 330d M Sport xDrive Glacier Silver Has a few options: M Sport pack - blue brakes, H/K sound etc Xenon with high beam assist Heated seats Adaptive suspension Pro Nav Still got 18 months on service pack 34k miles 1 previous owner What's a reasonable price to sell you think? All valuation sites will undervalue the car no matter how good condition your car is. I?d say look around Auto trader for similar cars to get a better feel of the pricing range.

Firstly...congrats on sprog number 2!
Secondly...I'd try them all, most offer mid level trade in value, try dealers too. Autotrader is also a very good shout...if you are selling privately, you wont get a sale value from a trader so ignore adverts from dealers.

Wisebuyers site should give you a decent indication of whats its worth. You can then work from there.

Are you selling privately or trading it with those webuyanycar splaces?
For private use autotrader valuation, compare similar spec cars for price. price it more than fhe valuation but just below AUC prices. |

Thanks all.
Not sure if I am selling yet, I'd rather not if finances allow it. Was just weighing up options and trying to figure out what a realistic selling price would be. I've been onto Autotraders valuation site and don't really understand how they work it out. I know it's never going to be 100% accurate but they have it down as just under £15k trade and £16200 private. When looking on Autotrader the cheapest I can find is £18k and that's without any of the options that mine has. Suppose I could take it to my local dealer to see what they'd give me. |
