Which is the best wax for Black paint
I have used a few waxes in the past but fancy a new one.
Like Collinite 476 and Zaino Z5 Anyone have any recommendations for a really good wax that's excellent on black paint |

I've used many waxes over the years, but I'm a recent convert to Gtechnic C2v3 sealant. I have an Estoril Blue car and the finish is amazing. It feels so slick and beads like crazy and it stays looking cleaner for longer (probably something you're all too well aware of with a black car).
It took some preparation (claying and tar removal) but applying the sealant was easy.

Blacklight is another good glaze FYI. Personally, I use either the above and then go over with a few coats of Poorboys EX-P (synthetic sealant), or if you're going for show over lasting protection, Zaino Z8 - as that really makes the metallic fleck pop. |

In honesty most waxes look good on a black car.
My fav for looks and durability is Bilt Hamber Finis Wax |

I don't use wax. Too much time snd effort.
My 4GC is carbon black, which is black most of the time in U.K. conditions. Having had my car ceramic coated, I use Sonax BSD on the advice of my detailer, after every third or fourth wash. Great stuff, and cheap too. Best applied with a dampened microfibre polishing cloth - and not when the bodywork is hot

It's not the Wax, it's the prep that makes the Wax look good.
For the Wax I would personally go for Dodo Black Widow Hybrid Wax. https://dodojuice.net/collections/ca...brid-wax-100ml It has the bonus of being a hybrid like SNH and therefore will last and look great. Purple haze is also good but Black Widow is the one to go for. |
