What's the most aggressive 18" wheel fitment you can run on F31 328d xdrive?

Thanks for the post! The most aggressive bolt-on SM-10 fitment we offer would be the 18x9" ET30 with 245/40-18 tires. Even this fitment often requires slight negative camber or rolled rear fenders depending on ride height.

More aggressive fitments are available with supporting mods, and we listed them in our fitment guide here: https://support.apexraceparts.com/hc...-Fitment-Guide

What standard setup for daily road use would you recommend for a 320d xDrive? I would prefer not to roll fenders... Car will be lowered on springs in the future, too.

Thanks for the post! We recommend the 18x8.5" ET35 with 245/40-18 tires as a square fitment for xDrive cars. This is a direct fit with no spacers or modifications required, and will look even better when lowered.

Many thanks, I appreciate the quick feedback.

Is there a reason for the recommendation of a square fitment? Asking because I bought the car with a staggered fitment on the OEM 400M wheels.

Great question! There are a couple reasons why we recommend square fitments. On xDrive cars, it simplifies the overall rolling diameter equation. There are only a small handful of staggered fitments that have the matching rolling diameters required for xDrive.

The 18x8.5" ET35 is also a direct fit front and rear, where as using a wider wheel in the rear such as the 18x9" ET30 or 9.5" ET35 is a bit aggressive and may require rolled fenders or negative camber to prevent rubbing.

A staggered setup is definitely not off-limits though.

We know! There have been other projects stealing our attention over the last few months. If we didn't already have the ARC-8 and EC-7 in this fitment, things would be different. We have to knock out projects in the order of community demand.

this tire size is different than the popular fitment of 235/40/18 on the guide on apex website.

any reason for recommending the 245 for xdrive cars instead?

235/40-18 is indeed our standard recommendation, however the 245 will also fit and provides just a bit of extra traction. Both sizes will work however depending on what your priorities are.

Thanks!

We don't have a set date just yet, but you can sign up for group buy notifications on www.apexraceparts.com towards the bottom, in the Stay On Track section.

Looking for SM-10's in a 19" staggered setup for a 2017 340i Xdrive with stock ride height. What are the recommended tire sizes for this setup? I'd like to run 245/40/19 up front and 265/40/19 in the rear, but the offset it slightly confusing. PM pricing if possible. Thanks.
