Wink Switched to non-run-flat tires - much better

I changed my 2014 328i original equipment tires a month ago. Went to Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus tires that are not run-flat. Though not knock-out better, they are smoother riding, better handling, and the car seems lighter on its feet (which it probably is). I bought a cigarette lighter pump with a can of repair stuff to keep in the trunk.
Also had been having problem of road feedback to the steering wheel - jerking it around sometimes. Very little of that with the new tires, but the OEMs didn't show that 'till they were worn at least 50%.
