If anyone cares to see the new wheel options as shown in the AG configurator:

New 18" 441M in Ferric Grey:

New 19" 442M in Orbit Grey:

Edit: also added interior pic of the combo I am thinking of - oyster/black with anthracite trim on EBII exterior. (The trim pieces are unfortunately in Oyster which I think looks less sporty but it's the way it is on the F32 as well)

The leather dash I also added to my Excel build but not sure what it actually looks like, i.e. does it have contrast stitching, etc. If it's just plain black Dakota glued to the dash I'll probably skip it, but if it looks like what's in the F80 I might go for it.
I'm thinking about putting in the alcantra and carbon fiber MPerformance interior on mine, so I'm not sure I'd need/want the additional looks of the leather dash. I'm also curious how that ages over the years with sun etc. I do like it in all the high end cars, and even the one in the Cadillac ATS is passable.

It looks like there is even less reason to check the box on this option since at least per the configurator it only consists of non-contrast stitched leather on the lower portions of the dash. The top of the dash is still regular rubber/plastic. If this is real and not just a configurator glitch then wow, what a ripoff

Where is this configurator? When I went to bmwusa I was still seeing the 2014.

But yeah, that's a bummer if that's all it is! But it looks like you are right, and given the airbag and other stuff it somewhat makes sense. That makes the only 2015 thing of interest to me then the ferric grey wheel option, which I'm sure I can get someone to sell me used or suck it up and buy later. Fell in love with another BMW wheel style though when searching... need me some Style 193's!!!

It's the same configurator. If you copy the URL of the images generated in the configurator into your browser you can add/remove options from the URL and see the results.

As per BMWNA email conversation:

Option 4M5 is "Instrument panel top and bottom section covered in leather Nappa Black. Door upper-arm trim panels not finished in leather"
