322 CA is not a requirement. Option 430/431 Power mirrors with interior switch is requirement.

Hey All! Newbie here...I am hoping I can get some help for my F80 M3.

I recently had a company code my car (don't want to give any names). They did an amazing job but couldn't get my mirrors to fold in or go out. I don't think they did the setting correctly. I have the button in the car to fold/unfold. I also have comfort access.

Would anyone be willing to take a look at my settings in Esys to see what is wrong? There is a nice Starbucks gift card in the mix

Lets dust off this thread...
I just retrofitted the mirrors, changed some of the wiring and i'm about to start coding them in.
Is this all that need to be coded or are there other things required?
Thanks,
KingpinRCR

PS: Maybe important: I started out with regular heated mirrors and swapped them with powerfolding and autodimming mirrors. (I have a dimming interior mirror)

That is it.
You could also VO Code with 430 & 431 added to FA.

My initiation delay is currently set to the following "FEM_BODY 3053 KOMFORT_SCHLIESSEN werte = 00" if I wanted to increase it to the default setting what would the werte value be? thanks.

Hey guys.
Just checking before I get stuck into the code. I have a 340i with folding mirrors. I can fold the mirrors when locking the car, but need to hold the lock button in for a few seconds. Can I change the code so that the mirrors fold in with a single press of the lock button?
Want my mirrors to always fold when locking, but I often just press lock and walk away, not stand there holding down the lock button.

Thanks

A few things:
  • KMFRT_SCHLIESSEN controls initiation delay
  • If you you completely eliminate, then you will not be able to disable alarm tilt sensor with keyFOB
  • FOB has a pretty good range. You do not need to stand there watching the show.

Ah ok, so if I eliminate the timed press down to a single press, the tilt sensor de-activation would also go.
Sucks a bit, but guess I will just have to remember to keep the lock button pressed in.

You can permanently disable in FZD module; but, yes, if you plan on locking active pets in your car, or are concerned about mirrors freezing closed, it is recommended against eliminating initiation delay.

The answer to your original query was above in post #23.
