Brake Fluid Change Interval Query
Hi,
I have just had my brake fluid at the 3 year interval as stated in the i drive. However the blake fluid now shows the next date to be changed is 07/17 (in 2 years time not 3). I queried this with the dealership and I have received the following reply: 'I have just spoken to work shop guys, and the brake fluid from when the car is built is 3 years, however once the fluid has been changed it then reverts to 2 year cycle. ' Can anyone confirm this please? Many thanks. |

Sounds about right.
When first built, everything is known to be clean and moisture free. This will give a longer warranty life for brake fluid. After that, you need to be changing it relatively regular. I think have always had around a 2 year change thing on my brakes. |
