Make sure you order the black shadow line trim option # 760 for free black gloss shadow line. I didn't see that box and ended up with matte chrome window trim, but I've learned to like it over time.

Thanks again. I forgot to check the black trim, but my dealer did it on his own. I assumed it was standard like the coupe but later found out the GC is standard with the chrome. I wouldn't mind it either way, but did get the black. Looking forward to some pics once you pick up the ride.

The car to the left looks like a E92 to me. Our GC has fog lights, that explains why that GC looks different...

Thanks! The Msport is a E92. I noticed that we have almost the same build. Mine just way fewer options. :-)

I want to replace the grilles on my GC, but not sure if I should go MATTE, GLOSS, or the way you painted your grilles...

Although matte chrome trim is standard; I forgot to select high gloss black shadow trim option # 760 which is free for 435 GC and replaces 3L8 (matte chrome window frames).

Oh well (maybe next time lol).

I will probably swap out yellow side reflector later on for alpine white painted one.

Just got her delivered today.

Grinning from ear to ear.

Lots of sales people came by and complimented the car, but maybe they're paid to do so lol. A few customers walking around the delivery bay also did compliment that it was gorgeous.

The dealership has maybe 2 428 Gran Coupes but no 435 GCs in stock, so many sales people took a gander at it in the delivery bay pod today. N.B. Canadian 428's come with Sport trim, while you must upgrade to 435 to get the M Sport body trim.

Absolutely lovely car to drive. Delivered with less than 10 miles on the odometer. I check it on the bill of sale an compared vs the dashboard reading. Good thing so it looks like the car wasn't joy-rided in.

Salesman took every effort to go through most of the media features which are new to me in a car. Last car is a mid 2000 Subaru so this is a big jump up in features and amenities.

Surprised that it got some turned necks while driving to Costco and then off to dinner.

I've seen them on EBay... And they are Gloss Black or "Chrome Black"
I think BMW sells them as well...

From what I've read at least for the GC it has to do with the cooling system of the car. Fog lights would block the airflow.

Really, our car has fog lights standard... But I still don't think that is the case. Here, all M-sport cars get fog lights, and for the 3 series, 328i and above gets fog lights standard.

The reason for US Spec GC not having fog lights on the M Sport line is:
"one extra engine cooler (same as on the Sport line) and one extra oil cooler."
