Winter Wheel/Tire Setup - XDrive - Lowered - Yellow M Perf Brakes
Need some help deciding on a winter wheel & Tire setup. I have a 435 xdrive and it is lowered on KW V1 Coilovers, with the m perf brakes (370mm discs). I think the biggest challenge for me will be the 18 wheel fitment over my brakes; it is hit or miss depending on the wheel.
If I can get a wheel to test fit, I may go with these because they are so cheap:https://www.discounttire.com/buy-wheels/drag-dr-67 If this doesn't pan out, does anyone have a good recommendation for about $150 a wheel? Maybe I should just get a second set of 19s? Look for a sued set of OEM wheels or reps that fit over the brake? I would like to run a squared setup with either 235s or 245s assuming I can fit the 245.

Are the yellow M Performance brakes larger than the blue M Sports? If not, Tire Rack has a few 18" wheels which they say will fit over the blue M Sports for around $150 each. This is the direction I'm looking at going for my 435 with the Track Package.

supposedly all oem 18" will fit over M-performance brakes. i'd get a used square set of 18x8 397, 400m. 225/45/18 or 235/45/18 square. nokian hakkapeliitta r2(1st choice) or bridgestone blizzak ws90 or michelin x ice xi3

245/40/18 will fit and is the widest that can go on 18x8
https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...mmmm+new+tires i'll see if i can find a decent 18x8.5" +35ish wheel for $150 if you desire 255/40/18. for winter/snow tires, as you go wider the price goes up and selection gets more limited, though Last edited by alohasurftoad; 09-09-2019 at 10:24 PM.. |

The front blue 370 M Sport calipers are identical to the M Performance calipers that come in red, orange or yellow. The rear calipers are identical no matter which of the four colors and are over 345mm x 24mm rotors |
