Worn suspension?
Have a 2015 335 Xdrive on Dinan springs with factory EDC
Sometimes when i hit a bump on one side of car, it kind of jumps sideways, doesnt happen all the time and more in comfort mode. Sport mode is more stable. Dont see any obvious wear on any suspension components. Will appreciate any feedback. |

If you have a leak you can replace that pair with Bilstein B4 Damptronic which is their stock EDC replacement. But I'd suggest the Bilstein B6 Damptronic which are heavy duty and contain their high tech build design. |

Check the thrust arm bushings for signs of leakage. Passenger side on my 335i is shot and I can feel the slop in the steering wheel when hitting bumps. Need to pull the trigger on monoball replacements.

Sounds like bump steer to me. Are you using stock bump stops? The reduced travel could lead to preloading the stop and thus bumping the spring rate really high making it overall more easily upset.

The monoballs are pressed into a brand new set of Lemforder thrust arms. (Lemforder makes them for BMW) Don't just order them off the website. Call VAC and make sure to specify that you want thrust arms (upper control arms) and specify whether you have RWD or xDrive. They have different Lemforder part numbers. |

If they don't have them in stock it only takes them 2-3 days to get in the Lemforder parts and manufacture them by pressing in their custom monoball bushings. If you need the RWD thrust arms, the left and right RWD part numbers were on one of the photos that I previously posted. Call Sales, give them those Lemforder part numbers and tell them to check with Tony to see if he has them in stock or if he needs to have them made up for you. Tony is the President & head of engineering. Let me know if you are going to order and I can drop him a message on your behalf also. The monoballs really are awesome. A couple of my local buddies are getting them too. Everything has just gotten so delayed around here (PA, NJ, NY) because of the virus. https://store.vacmotorsports.com/mob...set-p4882.aspx |

Thanks for the info, John! I'm RWD. I'll probably give them a call on Monday. I'll let you know how that goes. I've read some great things about their monoballs and look forward to tightening up the steering. So sloppy right now. Thanks again!

Monoballs make a tremendous difference. If I were to do things over again they may have been the first suspension mod. Steering has much more positive feedback and the benefit of static geometry mid turn is extremely apparent.
I have always read good things about VAC. I chose to go with the new Millway Street monoballs because they are fully sealed units. I fitted the F30/F31 kit to the F80 LCAs since the only difference between them is the included spacers.
