Thanks again, I guess we'd need to see both side-by-side to make out the difference.

Do you guys know if it's possible to order a 328i with the m-sport package before summer 2012 or do i have to wait for the official release date and then order?

Looks amazing! Can't wait to drive this thing, especially in M-Sport trim, for sure this will be my next car!

M Sport package looks great. The only thing that i'm not sure about is the blue line interior trim. Will have to wait until seeing it in person.

I think I'll be sticking with my E92 for the foreseeable future. I appreciate that Asia is a growing market and BMW must account for consumer preferences there as Americans buy fewer lux automobiles, but it doesn't mean I have to like the Japanese-ing of the 3er. Another poster is right ... this looks like a G35.

Hate the front hood slope and the snout like pointy nose! Cant bear to even look at it. Everytime i open a thread with a pic of it i get upset looking at that front nose. It kills every thing else good about it.

OMG, how many people have to make the same stupid comment about the blue trim???? It's been answered 20 times already.. There are other options including Gloss Black people.. even though I am sure the blue will look better in person .. Oh well, amazing car all in all, and that steering wheel is pure win

I agree, it looks fine, nothing wrong with it.

It would have been cool to get something thicker with perforated leather, but overall I don't see how this wheel is a turn off.
I do love the wheel in the Audi TT, R8, and GTI.
But, if BMW would have done that, I'm sure there would be lots of negative comments about why they would do that.

What I don't like are the multi spoke wheels. Again, they look ok, but I don't get a sense of sport aggressiveness. I prefer the split 5 spoke, which look almost the same as the split 7's.

BMW stock wheels used to always look so cool. These past 5 years they have been disappointing.
I'm not diggin 19's either, too much weight, especially the unsprung type.

Why did BMW remove the basic non-metallic red colors?
The 335D has a non-metal crimson red, but nothing for the other 3's.
Looks like the F30 won't have a non-metal red option either, which was a bad move then, now, and for the future 3.
I prefer the non-metal reds to the metallics, especially imola red.
WTF!?

I almost got the non-metal red when I bought my 135i.
Next summer I'm looking for my next car, and I'm looking at the 3 again.
I'm glad it looks this nice, and I may go for the 328i M sport, cause I want to try the 2.0 turbo, more power and less weight up front should make for a nice handling 3.
BUT, imola red would be awesome for an M sport 3. I hope it's still available as a custom order.

Also, from what I've read about the F30, there won't be a DCT option.
I'd love to see a DCT option, especially for an M sport.
In the 1 series the DCT is only a $450 option. BMW seemed to be pushing the selection of the DCT, but for some reason they won't offer it on their bread and butter car? Odd.

Hi everyone, been around for a long time and decided to make an account to join conversations.

The M-pack its a must IMHO, the front of the car looks "compressed", the M front bumper kinda takes away this felling from me. The back its 90% 5-series.. but thats a good thing in my view, and also have its own twists.

The steering wheel at first didn't seem to fit the car interior overall, looks more z4/8 type of car steering, but im getting used to it and even starting to like the idea, from a racional stand point, its simplistic and yet very functional.

The blue stripe has to go, can't imagine what were they thinking, but as many pointed out, you can choose other trim for it, like gloss black/aluminium which would be my choice no doubt. Those honeycombs on the seats/doors panels are awful, hope we can choose leather sport seats with no constracting stiching aswell.

And I was wondering how hard/easy would be to modify the front grills...hope they're a easy fix, because at least looking at the renders they look alot better with this balck finish.

Overall the car looks good..just needs better wheels..maybe the f10 M5 ones would fit nicely.

I think the steering wheel is fine. Whats really kinda cheezy is the design on the seats. Just looks kind of funky to me.

Lip spoiler

Hi Jason et al, do you think a lip spoiler will be available with the M sport package, similar to the F10?

I'm with you on that. I just don't 'get it' I guess.

But what, I can't have a sport modern luxury 3?
What if I want modern sport?
Or, sport luxury?
Or, modern luxury?

I'm sure that's it's marketing driven, but why?

Like the steering wheel reminds me of the E30. IMO would be a hell of alot better if they got rid of the all the blutooth and volume controls that have at the 3 and 9 oclock position.
