Hey, just thought I'll update this thread in case someone will run into similar problem in the future. So, I took the car to another indy where they kept a car for almost a month! Imagine that, almost a month! To be honest, I took it to where I bought it from. So, after a month and numerous calls to them it got sorted, the best part it cost me nothing, because it took them over a month to get it done they charged me nothing, so I am very happy how it turned out, as I borrowed my roommates car it wasn't that big of the deal.

This forum works magic, it was oil pressure regulating valve as Sasquartch mentioned it above. So in case anyone will have this issue in the future, that's the faulty part.

Thank you everyone for the help. Really appreciate that.

EDIT: Regarding Software, they told me they had to buy a newest update directly from BMW just for my car in order to find a fault, they told me I am running now a newest software possible (July, 2017) and that's one of the reasons why I took them so long, as they were waiting for it, as to how much truth there is in this I do not know. So, I suppose that's a good starting point (updating software).

+1

Useful information, confirming a reason/fault as to why the oil check can't be completed.

Hello dears! on my f30 316i (n 13) the same problem! You could tell me what kind of sensor to change, his number. Is there a big difficulty in replacing it? I am very far from the dealer. Thank you!

I’d go back to the original specialist and tell them they’re not specialists haha.

£400 to not find a fault!

You’d think they’d scour forums too unless they specifically knew how to fix something.
