As my understanding goes BMW has a open recall on the water pump of the F3x series, however it doesn't seem to cover the F34 GranTurismo.

Does it mean we got better pumps or there's not enough of GT owners to include us???

Where did you see this? The only recall I can find is 2008-2011 models.

Same water pumps are used in a wide variety of models including F34, as thus, I believe your recall info is incorrect.

Of course, you did not mention build date.

Mine was a 2014/4 build, for some reason when I entered my vin in BMW's website no recalls are mentioned, nor was some other recall website, and my dealer told me it doesn't have a recall on file. Weird.

GT started production in 2013 (I think), so maybe they fixed the water pumps beforehand ;-)

Very interested if its the same waterpump it should apply to us regardless of body style.

What's weird? You still haven't named a source that said there was a recall, and the only one I can find is for model years 2008-2011, which isn't even F series cars.
