Great thread, thanks for he suggestions. I didn't know season 2 of Drive to Survive or Altered Carbon had dropped. In my queue now.
Another vote for Chernobyl. One of the best shows I have seen for years. If you like true crime, try 'Don't F*ck with Cats'.

Watching Series 2 of Altered Carbon just now, The Witcher was good as well.
At the moment the best SF/fantasy stuff is on other platforms - The Mandallorian, Picard and See on Disney, Amazon and Apple respectively. |

Picard - couldn't get into this, despite liking Star Trek stuff.
The Mandalorian - brilliant, for those who haven't seen it yet, Disney+ launches in 20 days and you can pre-order for a discount. Narcos (all variants) - again brilliant. Fauda - Israeli counter-terrorism show, excellent. The Mechanism - Brazilian anti-corruption show. Money Heist - Spanish show about a gang trying to break into the Spanish Royal Mint. All except Picard are IMO must watch. Oh and it's a BBC show but on Netflix, Line of Duty |

I’m currently halfway through it. Not as good as the excellent first series in my opinion, but still quite good and worth a watch. |

Manhunt Unabomber
Mindhunter Flint Town. Documentary on the police service in what was one of America’s richest towns. Sex Eduction The Spy. Sacha Baron Cohen, I usually avoid anything with him in it but this is brilliant. |

If the weather's crap at the weekend I might waste an afternoon binge-watching... So far OK, gets a bit discombobulating with the character (sleeve) changes but my son who's finished the series said it's good, and like you in his view not quite as good as the first one. We'll see... |

I think The Expanse is one of the best sci-fi series of recent times. The characters are brilliant, the story is pretty compelling (agree Series 1 is slightly slower paced), Series 3 was the best but I think it's gone off the boil a bit in Series 4.

I have lost track of all the great programs I have watched on netflix. Such great quality compared to terrestrial TV. The crime docs are amazing!
