Unhappy Well..it happened. Paint/dent damage.

I don't want to get into it because I'm still sour from what happened.

What kind of repair should I be expecting with this? Will be going to a couple of body shops soon. I'm traveling right now and won't be able to take it to the dealership that I trust albeit it pricey as hell. Mainly just want it repainted and fix the cosmetic. I can live with the dent

It could be filled and sanded down once the dents are pulled and leveled

If you're wanting a replacement fender and door that's where the price will skyrocket.

Or replacement fender+ repairing the door.

Most dealerships don't have body shops it's usually outsourced to a certified shop.

Thanks for the reply. I had a fender bender last year and the dealer I went to aslo has a collision center that would use all OEM products. I know a paint job there would be very pricey.

How much should I expect it to cost if I went the fill route? I don't think the damage is bad enough for me to commit to replacing the fender and door

I've been quoted anywhere from the range of 600-1000 for just the door. I'd expect you to pay somewhere around 1-1.5k. Door will most likely need to get blended.

I would get it bondo’d and painted. I’m going to guess about $2,000 - $2,500.

You shouldn't be asking here what to do, you should be asking your insurance company.

Was able to get it to a shop earlier than I expected. Got a recommendation from a friend on the shop. Checked them out. Seems legit. He said he should be able to pop out the dent and paint it. Got a quote for roughly 800.
