why would you embed a rar in a torrent? That's sometimes done to push malware.

It's rar'd to make the download smaller. 21GB rar, versus 29GB when I un-rared it. And I imagine a zip file if .torrent isn't an allowed extension on this site.

Just wanted to say thank you. Never even occurred to me to update the maps on my car until I saw this thread. My map is from 2014... lol.

Can someone give me some insight as to how to load the maps on to the USB drive(s)? I have already formatted a 32GB into the correct format and have also extracted the rar. Not sure what to do with folders 1-4 and config and pkg/pkg.sig files. Any help?

Disregard again. I finally figured out how to pull the FSC data using Esys and then converting hex, binary, base stuff. My street nerd cred easily tripled this evening but I got it figured out.

To pull the FSC data from my car using Esys, I followed this link:

If I had issues with a specific "nerd term" I wasn't familiar with, I just googled it and figured out what I needed to resolve the issue.

I had originally tried generating the FSC with my VIN and build date but the code generated didn't work. So I was forced to pull the FSC data if I didn't want to pay for a working FSC.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
