Custom tune for E30

I'm on stock pump do you think it's worth in order to push my turbo more (currently at 17-18 psi max)? Vargas claims I can push 25-27 psi in the midrange tapering to about 21-22 at redline. A hpfp is out of my price range right now.

2014 m sport 435i rwd fbo upgraded turbos
VRSF Chargepipe, vrsf race fmic, and hi flow downpipe
BMS aluminum elite intake
Stage 2H 93 bootmod3
ngk Cold spark plugs
oem ignition coils
Vargas stage 1 upgraded turbo
92500 miles
xHP stage 3 transmission tune

Bm3 e30 OTS will max out your fuel pump. Custom tune will do nothing.

As stated above, OTS maps will max HPFP. Also, there is absolutely no way you are pushing 25-27psi with a stage 1 turbo. That's even above what a PS2 will make, fueling issues aside.

I'm trying to run more boost, on the OTS map i'm getting the same amount of psi as someone on a stock turbo.

Stock turbo is not pushing that much boost boss I believe stock is roughly around 10 PSI. With ethanol you're maxing out the fuel pump, if you want more boost upgrade the fuel pump.

Well yeah the map doesnt change because you upgraded the turbo... you will just make the same boost with lower WGDC

You've already received some good feedback. A couple of things that i would do that I don't see on your list are:
TMAP Sensor 3.5bar
Turbosmart BOV
MST Turbo Inlet Pipe v2- this removes the stock pipe constriction entering the turbo and provides more power from 5,000 RPMs on up.

You've already spent the money on the highest cost upgrade, a new turbo. I'd finish it with a Dorch2 HPFP and a Precision Raceworks LPFP 2.5. Otherwise your fueling has you topped out below what your upgraded turbo and tune upgrades might do.

Thanks I was just on a budget right now but I will look into the inlets.

You will definitely see a performance bump from 5,000 RPMs on up because it allows about 40% more intake air to enter the turbo housing. Not all turbo inlet pipes are designed to do this. Many are just modeled to duplicate the stock restricted pipe

Do I need the tmap and blow off valve? Like will these add more performance?

You need the TMAP if you are going to try and run more than ~21psi because the N55 OEM sensor can't read above that.

The DV upgrade is intended to hold boost better than the stock one.

Stock 2.5bar TMAP sensor maxes out just over 20psi, before the boost levels you mentioned. New VDO TMAP 3.5bar Sensor from FCP Euro is ~$65

The biggest change that I noticed with the Turbosmart BOV is in drivability. In Sport mode when I let up slightly on the throttle the stock DV used to dump boost and then take time to build it back up. With the Turbosmart BOV it just trims off the excess boost so that when I step back on it the power is instantly there. Feels more like being right in a V8's powerband.

Thanks for the feedback I'm probably going to get the Dorch Stage 1 HPFP, MST Inlets, and tmap 3.5 sensor.

Why do you need the upgraded HPFP if you are going to run pump gas?
