I assume you do not, because you wouldn't be defending the base lighting if you did.

I had the 328 for 8 months and didn't have an issue at all with the halogen lights. They illuminated the road more than adequately.

I think rule number 1 of forums is NEVER correct posters grammar since its rare than anyone follows the exact rules of grammar, punctuation and the like....

I would say that if they change your quotation, you are free to do what you wish.

Also "it's", not "its". And its "poster's grammar", not "posters grammar".

Case in point. I knew I left them as an example. I could have put a comma next to you 'Or' as well..but I didn't lol

Interesting. I had just assumed the 335i was like the M3/M4 (and, I believe the 4 Series in the US?), where the adaptive control comes along with the Xenon headlights:

522 Xenon headlights (STD)
524 Adaptive light control (STD)

I'm referring to the US.
no they are not, I tested the C300 2 weeks ago and it didn't have the LED nor the Xenon.

It was Hallogen

Yes the M-Sport really suits the GC, especially that front-end. But I also really like the Sportline especially in Black (I don't like the Black mirror covers on Sportlines in different colors). The Sportline 397 wheels are really nice.

It looks like the options will be LED headlights for $900, and adaptive LED headlights for ~$1900. I would gladly take the old Lighting Package (Adaptive Xenons) for $900 over either. Oh well.
BMW have used projector halogen headlights before eg, e53 ,
but went back to using reflectors for halogens,
because even though projectors shine the light more precisely, and are perfect for xenons and LED's;
for halogen headlights , projectors just don't have the light output of reflectors when used with halogen globes.

It makes it easy to tell the difference as well,
an F30 with reflectors,
everyone knows their just halogens...

Most LEDs have no higher lumen output than halogen, so from that standpoint there's no reason for any manufacturer to jump on them. What they do offer is the same light output with far less current draw. That means you can use a smaller alternator and battery, which translates to a slight increase in mileage. That's not a huge concern for BMW. It is for Toyota, or any of the mass market builders, who produce a lot of SUVs, vans and trucks. They need to do whatever they can to raise their CAFE.

So do the LED headlights still have the basic up/down/left/right adaptive movement or are they now sucking more money for that?

Or are the fully adaptive LED's just adding auto high beams, etc?

So I am wondering for the LCI Halogens, will they still have the parking light on whenever the Low/High Beams are on? If so, would it now be LED? From the pictures it does not seem there is a parking light anymore.

Hopefully the LEDs for DRL on the halogens will be available soon since right now all I can find are LEDs that appear purple (high lumens).

A person buying a Toyota Corolla is unlikely to care whether or not the car has LEDs or Haleogens and if LEDs were an option, the buyer is unlikely to pay for it.

A person buying a BMW on the other hand is more likely to want all the bells and whistles and while complaining about the nickeling and diming that BMW does, he also more likely to pay for all the options.
