Getting tired of running E30 and want to run a meth kit because I feel my car kind of feeling hesitant at the top end especially at the end of a WOT. Do I need a hpfp and custom tune for this? Or can I run a jb4 with my ecu flash?

VRSF Chargepipe, vrsf race fmic, and hi flow downpipe
BMS aluminum elite intake
Stage 2H 93 bootmod3
ngk Cold spark plugs
oem ignition coils
Vargas stage 1 upgraded turbo
92500 miles
xHP stage 2 transmission tune

You can run your ecu flash and have the jb4 operating as just a meth controller.

Set it to map 0 and meth to operate on all maps. I can't remember for sure but I believe its option 3 on the meth settings.

Highly recommend it.

Also recommend stage 3 with your xhp.

Feel free to ask further questions. I have been running this set up about 2 years.

You also have the option of using the bms flash as well. Not sure which would be better vs your 2h bm3. Would need logs to determine. BMS offers their flash for free for jb4 owners.

Thanks for the feedback would stage 3 xHP be suitable for daily driving? Also what meth kit are you running and how has it been holding up because a mechanic in my shop told me not to run it and just get other fueling upgrades but they're costly.

I run the bms meth kit with the jb4 as the brain.

I run a ps2 powered 435i with the supporting bolt ons.


Xhp stage 3 for daily driver is spot on good.

Nice I was wondering if I can run it for just cooling and benefits and not have to use a jb4 because I'm afraid the spray might malfunction. Also is the snow performance meth kit just as good as bms meth kit?
