What is the react time on your bmw remote commands?

What's the reaction time on commands issued through your BMW remote app ?

I'm averaging about one minute 30 seconds over the last few days, I just started using it. My f150 with remote access is around 5-10 seconds. Same locations, good signal strength too.

In my tests so far ... never. The app says that it's successfully sent the command, but the car never reacts.

Same time amount for me - usually takes a minute to a minute and a half. Not sure why, but I'm seeing the same thing.

Was hoping it wouldn't be everyone having delays like this. I wonder where the delay is? The app says 'transmitted successfully'; is the delay in the car? I'd think not.

Nope everyone seems to have delays like that (that I know have a BMW that is)... I'm wondering if it is with the software in the car that connects with the app?

It has to translate to German for the car to understand the command.

I'm guessing that the car polls the server on a limited basis to avoid depleting the battery too fast. 1 minute seems about standard...

You have to get the US version of the app now. Mine takes at least 1-1 1/2 minutes to get a response for honking the horn or flashing.

Mine too. Plus the google "send direction" option which is great if you send it well ahead of time.

Might want to double check that. If you swipe to unlock it simply gives you a phone number to call.
