True.

Generally share the big bottles with mates. Rarely finish one myself

Gets a laugh though when you ask fancy a bottle and then you plonk one of those down - especially alive got a couple of 2 pint steins from the German market.

Will look out for a goose.

Goose island was only sold by Tesco but recently it's stocked by ASDA and is now creeping in to local pubs, it was / is a bit hipster it's a seriously good beer / pale ale, and the original green label hits the spot strength wise.

I got a stein too Brought it back from the Berlin Beer Festival, had to put down a 5 euro deposit for the glass, but that was cheap to lose by taking it home compared to what the shops were selling them for

Beer - the stuff of gods

I am not exaggerating when I say there is not a beer I can recall I dont like, even some twisted chocolate shit I tasted at an ale festi once had its place

Here is tonight's flavour

And to the question 'do you drink it all in one go' - hell yeah!!!

Another "Interesting" Stein

Here's one I collected from a typical "touristen" venue. It's an otherwise unremarkable 650ml pot, apart from the the verse, which marks it out as a humorous item.
The same 500ml bottle is alongside for scaling. The Leaning Tower of Pisa effect is a macro abberation!

Made I laugh it did!

Get yourself across to Belgium, either Florennes or Bruges.

In Bruges there is a pub (or was) called Der Kelk.

Totally brilliant place for sampling beers....

You need a week to work through them

EDIT: looks like it is fit and well.

Can really recommend De Kelk and there is a pub in Florennes that is similar, 1000 beers

Kylie and Rioja tonight though
