Same amount of tq so I doubt you will feel the difference 95% of the time, except for in the top end. Quarter mile times should be almost identical but a good chance of breaking into the very high 12s

I honestly, more than anything, want launch control integrated into the tune...the extra HP is what it is, just dyno bragging rightw. If we're all trapping high 12's (which would be sick), then I'll be content.

I think the .25 mile times will be more contingent on tire choice, wheel weight/size, and launch more than anything....

Lots of July 2013 production date cars will be hitting the west coast in a number of days. Z4A is still on my VO sheet as of a few days back. Will be interested to hear from other members whose cars with PPK will be landing next week.

My dealer apparently was successful (hopefully!) adding Port Installed PPK to my 2013 sitting at port in Germany...
They also gave me the option of dealer install and confirmed availability.

So confusing. I have a 2013 335xi landing on 9/7. The bulletin says production after 7/1. I'm told the MPPK was added to my order successfully. It's important that it is dealer installed at the time of delivery as I can residualize it on my lease which makes the cost very low.

Can anyone confirm with 100% certainty that only 2014 MPPKs were delayed?

My 2013 is on the water in bound to NJ port. Dealer gave me a copy of options which confirms it is included - Z4A MPPK - list price is $1170.

I have an order for '14 335 msport with ppk and m exhaust. I asked my dealer about this hold on the ppk and he knew nothing about it. My order has gone trough and the car is now on Canadian soil. Hope to have it mid sept.

Good afternoon. Just received word that my 2014 335i arrived at the dealership, PPK installed by VDC in Oxnard. I know there was a notice about the kit being discontinued for July 2013+ production, so I don't quite know what to think. Car produced on 7/12.

Do your sport displays show 400/400. I am having my PPK reinstalled this week and from reading posts of those that recently received the PPK for the new DMEs this is what their sport displays are showing. On the PPK based off the old DME the sport displays showed 320/400.

I suspect the PPK based on the new DME may be the new PPK with 335hp. Only one mans suspicion so nothing to really go crazy about.

Let me know if that's the case for you too. I am hoping to pick up mine by Labor Day and if it shows 400/400 I should be able to tell any differences.

That would be freaking awesome news. MY 2014 for sure right? Mine was built 7-26 and is at VDC now awaiting delivery to Austin. I hope they can get it on there. My dealer has no idea otherwise regarding the bulletin. Hopefully if it is installed there is no issue with the launch control.

Just got my car from BMW, it is confirmed, 400/400 as hp/torque, the car sounds amazing, I was laughing with joy while driving my car back to work from the dealer... when in sport mode you can hear the turbos tssssssssss.... when you are decelerating you can hear the blurb...

They also provided me a base 328i XDrive loaner... that is not not a true BMW, that is Camry, it looks and drive really cheap on top its engine sound that is terrible... Once again, 335i M-Sport is THE WAY to go, I want to drive this car till the rims falls off.

I'm really, really happy!
