Hey Everyone, now that I am into my new lease on my 428i and out of the F30 328i which I despised I wanted to get a good build thread going.

I always went with extremely clean mods on my old car and want to continue the trend on the new one. Despite it being a lease I plan to make this car what I want, its mine for three years so I am going to enjoy it!!

The Specs:
2014 428i XDrive Coupe
Estoril Blue
Black Dakota Leather
MSport
Premium
Cold Weather
Driver's Assistance
Navigation

Current Mods and Additions:
OEM M Performance Gloss Black Grills
428i M Performance Exhaust
428i M Performance Diffuser
Gloss black trunk lip
OEM LCI Illuminated A/C & Radio Trim
Estoril Blue paint matched reflectors
35% Rear and side rear window tint
Blackvue DR650GW-2CH Dashcam (click for DIY)

Here are the planned mods (so far) in tentative order of what I want the most:

Gloss black Front lip
Lower with OEM RWD Springs
Gloss black mirror caps

Here she is a day after pickup:

The mods should be coming in quick, as I really want to have this car ready and done for the NY car meets season which is finally approaching!

Here she is the morning I put the OEM gloss black grills on.

Got an absolutely great deal on them from the dealership parts counter.

Here is the 435 Exhaust conversion

Muffler cost me about 250 and 80 bucks to have welded on. The stock 435 diffusor was about $90 from BMW of Bridgewater online parts. Excellent service from them btw!

Currently waiting to hit the buy button on an MPerformance diffusor.

Haha no GnB work on this one yet!

Tints are so obvious I forgot to put them on the list LOL!

As for suspension I am considering my options. I am thinking about OEM RWD MSport springs but no one has done them yet. If I can't find good info on those then H&R Sports I guess. I feel like springs are cheap and I know they will ruin the struts over time.

I've been doing so well convincing myself not to adjust it.

I have a feeling I might have to when the MPerf diffusor comes, I think the clearances are tighter on that one (maybe)

If it makes you feel any better that you have a fellow OCD brotha...I am going to spend some time today to adjust my right tip up 1/8". I've got some 16 guage wire and heavy duty tie wraps and 6 pack of beer.

Thank you! Glad I went for OEM and not the double slat, I really like the OEM look. The slats are thicker then the chrome grill I think which looks really good.

Looking good. I have a 435i xDrive Gran Coupé in the BX. How did you get the 435 exhaust? Is that a full muffler replacement you did? Where do they sell the M Performance rear diffuser?

Look for used 335/435 muffler on eBay or on this forum. The MP Diffuser can be purchased from a wide variety of outlets. Just do a search on this part number 51192339218.

Thanks, I didn't know they were interchangeable. I could of bought a 428 then, lol. I guess you could install that rear diffuser unpainted. I've seen BMW paint the outer border on the car they were using for the UN4GETABLE test drive:



I rather wait for a similar carbon fiber option and do that with a matching front lip.

Well I guess tboooe beat me to the punch on answering these MAXecutive LOL!

I agree with everything he said, and yes there are already some CF offerings on eBay that probably fit fine. RW Carbon has a CF version of the MPerformance diffusor I believe, if you like the look.
