Want to Swap 4 Series Bumper with M Sport Bumper

I'm trying to replace my 4 series front bumper with the m sport style bumper.

I recently bought my 2018 74k mile gran coupe for 25k. It looks super weird without the m style front bumper, but I don't want to pay 1k-2k for a bumper that does nothing but make the car look nicer.

I've looked at my options:

1. Buy a bumper from carparts.com and have it painted at a shop for God knows how much

2. Buy a preprinted bumper from a sketchy website

3. Buy a bumper off Facebook marketplace from another car

And I don't know what to do. There are more components that go into swapping bumpers like sensors, fog lights ,etc. etc. But this is my first BMW and I don't want to sink big money into a bumper and it turns out I can't swap it, or I need to give up more than I bargained for.

If someone could either share their experience or offer some guidance in what I should do lmk.

Forewarn you that once you do that, it's going to look super weird without the matching side-skirts and rear bumper.

agree. only looks good if you're going to do m-sport complete. i suggest a front lip for non m-sport 4 series. in gloss black or body color. here is one below. i think it enhances the non m-sport lower front quite nicely. it is much cheaper alternative and you can use the money and time(time=money)you saved for other mods

this color matched non m-sport front lip looks really good. i am not sure how easy this is to obtain, though.

I know you're not forgetting that it's not just the bumper cover that needs to be updated in the front. There are a whole series of grills, clips, and aero management trims that need to go a long with it.

I am in your boat, I have a base model F30 328i. After collecting all the parts needed for full PDC retrofit and backup camera I wanted to just go full out M sport kit (rather than drilling bumpers alone).

I searched FB market place for almost 3 months now and all the available M sport bumpers are fairly damaged, not PDC, or too far away. You're probably in a better FB marketplace in the mid-atlantic, Northeast so maybe you will get more lucky.

I ended up buying from Kies motorsport because it came with all the extras versus trying to also piece those components together. Currently, they are on "sale" which is really 10% off Front Bumper M Sport Conversion Kit

but really look at all the trim bits included.
