Thanks for the link. I'm thinking if they are going to produce e90s until late in 2011, I can order one now for (say) August production and still get an N52 engine.... that would still tie in pretty closely with my lease-end.

Agree. It's much more similar to the current generation and 5 series than the e90 was to the e46.

Not much in the way of revolution...more like an evolution in design. I would expect what is under the hood to be of far more interest.

Not bad, I've liked the 5 series design for a while but not the size so this works for me

The double character lines do a good job of masking how high the hood actually is.

hoodline is copied from the F10... the back is sitting too high IMO and it does look like the E60 if you look at the boot from the side which i truly hate... and if the headlights are the same as the render.. i am going to shoot myself... like the square angle eyes tho

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

Doesn't look too bad, I think the rear will look nice. Though the front end looks sorta like a Honda Accord? just something about the foglight placement, the lines around the foglight area, and the small grill opening x.x

Need to see more. I don't like the idea of too much family resemblance in the line.... They need to give each series more distinction. I want a family theme w/o having the same look but smaller. VW did that with the jetta and Passat. Sitting beside each other they look like one was just 7/10th scale

jesus that looks good. If 3 series comes out like this, I might actually be interested in buying another 3 series... I never buy same model twice.

It looks boring. This design will be around until 2018. It does not look like a 2018 car. Not futuristic at all.

Scott - u keep posting this photo ... i gotta say i really hope the lower grille on the prodution car does not look like the photoshop. gets back to the whole shark-face thing. can u shine any light on that?

also what happened to the info about the turn signals being placed under the headlights a-la new 6er? i dont see that here ...

also, y no new hood lines like the rest of the F-chassis (they clearly tried to place tape here)? ... just looks like the LCI with wider grills (its kinda lame)
